Star Classification Information:

A Constellation is a group of stars that are visibly related to each other.

Magnitude refers to how bright a star is. The scale was first developed by a Greek mathematician named Hipparchus in 150 B.C. He ranked the stars according to how bright they were, with 1 representing the brightest to 6 representing the faintest. The modern scale is similar with the lower the number the brighter the star.
