Instructions
- Open GIMP
- 2. Go to File and New and select 800 x 600 on the Template drop down.
- Repeat step 2
- Repeat step 2 again. You should now have 3 Image windows open.
- Copy and paste each of the 3 pictures of the planes on to the image screens you just created. One picture per image screen.
- Go to the Image screen with the picture of the 4 jets. Go to the top
to Layers and select Anchor Layer (If Anchor Layer is grayed out, it
means the layer is already anchored).
- Use the Rectangle Select tool to create a rectangle around the jets.
- Go to Edit and select Copy.
- Go to the Image screen with picture of the flag.
Go to the top to Layers and select Anchor Layer (If Anchor Layer is
grayed out, it means the layer is already anchored).
- Go to Edit and select Paste.
- Use the Flip tool to make the jets go in the opposite direction.
- Use the Move tool to move the jets and use the eraser tool to erase around them to make them blend.
- Go to the Image screen with the picture of the single jet.
Go to the top to Layers and select Anchor Layer (If Anchor Layer is
grayed out, it means the layer is already anchored).
- Use the Rectangle Select tool to copy and paste the jet onto the
Image screen with the picture of the flag.
- Use the Eraser Tool to make the picture blend.
- Use the Scale Tool to make the jet slightly smaller.
- Your image should look similar to the one below.
