Objective: Use the copy tool and layers to add another horse

Procedure:

• Copy the top picture into Gimp. It is 800 x 600.
• Go to Layers at the top and click anchor layer. Use the Rectangle (selection) tool to select the horse on the right.
• At the top select Edit and Copy, then Edit and Paste. This will paste a second horse on top of the original.
• Place the Move tool on the horse and drag it to the left.
• Use the Flip layer tool to flip the horse.
• Select the Eraser tool and carefully erase the part of the picture around the horse that does not belong.
• Experiment by changing the brush size of the Eraser and zooming in.
