Ashwood

The original plantation was composed of 840 acres purchased from Thomas Jefferson's daughter by Anne Moseley in 1810.  Winston Radford owned the home in the 1860s but was killed at the First Battle of Manassas. His family lost the home after the Civil War. The estate was named for the large ashwood trees on the property.
