Welcome
My name is Steve Hammer, and I teach Computer Science at Forest Middle school. It is a fun job that allows me to work with almost every student that attends our school and experiment with lots of different technology and software. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have also taught US history and World History as well coached track and football. I began teaching computer classes in the early nineties using Apple IIes then Macs, but have worked exclusively with PCs since working in Forest.
In addition to geeking out with technology I like to have fun outside. Running and cycling are my two favorites, and I enjoy participating in local races including the Angels Race Triathlon. For the past few years I have been working with cub scout pack 360 as a den leader and helping organize and leading pack hikes in the area mountains.
